The annual Xmas light switch on in Northumberland Rd
Damien, the organiser of the lights, said that “the lights are in remembrance of all those loved ones that we have lost due to COVID-19”.
There was a 10-1 countdown and when the church bells went off that was the cue for the residents of Northumberland Rd to switch their lights on!
Father Christmas walked down the road, addressing the residents with seasonal greetings.
Damien announced to the residents that ‘the road [looked] absolutely fantastic, you can be so proud of yourself’
