Inspiration of Clare Wilde and her mother Rene, the No 3 Coffee Company is a most welcome new amenity for the village, with its well thought out interiors and an exciting menu. No 3 aims to entice not only locals but many others visiting the area.
No 3’s interiors have been designed to give a rustic charm, using reclaimed wood and many upcycled fixtures and fittings. New flooring and wallpapers have been chosen to give a bohemian style, along with its comfortable indoor seating area and there will be outdoor seating ready for the warmer weather.
Freshly baked breads, pastries and cakes will be on the menu, along with sandwiches and hot paninis, and of course the traditional afternoon tea. Clare puts an emphasis on providing local produce, and takes pride in catering for a wide range of tastes, including vegetarian, vegan and lactose intolerant.
With restrictions imposed through lockdown, the current service is limited to take away only. Clare and business partner Hayden are looking forward to fully opening up as soon as possible. Clare said: “We are really so excited about our launch today and very much looking forward to welcoming the community through our doors, along with those from further afield.”
The inspiration for No 3 Coffee Company came originally from Clare’s mum, it was a dream they both aspired to and today that dream came true for Clare and Hayden. “We would like to thank our families and friends for all their support, not forgetting all the kind words from the local community.”
You can find No 3 Coffee Company at 9A The Street, Shorne Village, DA12 3EA. Opening times are: Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 2.30pm and Sunday 9.30am to 2.30pm.
