Forever Daizy’s is your local friendly, family run florist in Istead Rise. The florist was established in 2008 and is growing stronger year by year. The shop is named after a little girl in the family called Daizy, who very sadly passed away. The inspiration of floristry came from the mass of beautiful flowers that Daizy received at her funeral.
The owner Donna takes great care and love in creating various floral arrangements in different areas of floristry. She really likes to offer a personal touch to every customer to fit their requirements. Donna trained floristry at Dartford Adult Education College. She has a qualification in Floristry and Floral Art at level 3. Donna also taught back at the college after qualifying because of her expertise in floristry.
The flowers and foliage are fresh/premium quality, sourced daily from Holland, Lincolnshire in the UK, Italy, and many of the roses are sourced as far away as Columbia! Alongside the flowers, Forever Daizy’s also have a good variety of greeting cards from Noel Tatt in Canterbury, small homeware gifts which are on trend and updated regularly, balloons for all occasions and annual and perennial plants for the house and garden.
The florist has gained an excellent reputation over the years. The business is really appreciated in the community and the florist really appreciates the community in return.
A good selection of fresh and seasonal flowers is on offer across the year, with a range of around 30 different varieties in stock that are suitable for all occasions. Bouquets can be created fresh while customers wait.
For funerals Forever Daizy’s can offer a very bespoke funeral tribute service. Such examples include an old fashioned filming camera and crown complete with jewels for someone that had worked on the TV series ‘The Crown’.
Forever Daizy’s has been a finalist at The Kent Wedding Awards 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017/2018. They have also decorated various venues for weddings and functions across Kent and London, continuing to build and promote its reputation as a small business providing flowers to the local community and beyond. The florist also provides a local delivery service in Istead Rise and the wider community of Gravesham.
